About HUNA

The Historic Uptown Neighborhood Association is volunteer-run by association members to celebrate and promote the Historic Uptown neighborhood in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Our mission is to protect, enhance, improve and beautify the Historic Uptown Neighborhood area in order to make it a better place in which to live, work, and promote a sense of community and civic pride.

The Uptown Neighborhood

Historic Uptown is one of St. Petersburg’s oldest and most distinctive neighborhoods, known for its charming historic homes, mature trees, and walkable residential streets. Centered around scenic Round Lake, its mix of architectural styles and welcoming atmosphere gives the area a character all its own.

Located just north of downtown, Historic Uptown offers easy access to the city’s restaurants, shops, cultural attractions, and waterfront while still maintaining a quieter neighborhood feel. Residents can enjoy the convenience of urban living without losing a strong sense of place and community.

The neighborhood is also known for its active residents and community spirit. From local events and neighborhood projects to gatherings around Round Lake and nearby parks, Historic Uptown reflects the vibrant, connected character that makes St. Petersburg such a special place to live.
